Participating in the 2008 pioneer World Cup 7s qualifiers marks her statement as a trailblazer – the springboard of a remarkable career. Her Uganda Lady Cranes’ 15s Assistant Coach performance in 2022 further showcased her commitment to nurturing raw talent.

Demonstrative of Fortunate’s coaching acumen was confirmed in her World Rugby Level 2 15s Coach certification. Beyond rugby union, as Founder of Rugby League Uganda, she serves as the Head Coach for its national men’s and women’s teams. Spearheading the youngest squads in the Middle East and Africa history demonstrates her passion to furthering the game.

Tag rugby coaching accreditation, and Director of The Whales Rugby League Academy overseeing eight teams, confirms her commitment to rugby development. “Rugby runs in every stream of my blood. It doesn’t matter which code, as long as it’s the game I’m addicted to and cannot live without” positions her as a cornerstone in Ugandan rugby.
